Sweet Briar Hockey Begins Busy Weekend at Moravian

Bethlehem, Pa.- The Sweet Briar College field hockey team played its first of two games in as many days with an evening match at Moravian College's John Makuvek Field. The host Greyhounds dominated play on their way to a 12-0 victory.

First-year Rosemary Austin continues to put forth her best effort in the cage for Sweet Briar, as she stopped 20 of the 32 shots on goal by Moravian. Senior Rachel Rogers also registered a defensive save in the effort, her third of the season.

The Vixens will be right back in action again tomorrow with an 11 a.m. match at Cedar Crest College.
