The Sweet Briar College soccer team traveled today to face the Marlins of Virginia Wesleyan College in Virginia Beach, Va.

The Vixen squad was outmatched in their final game of the season against the Marlins. Despite strong performances from senior Helen Phillips (Lynchburg, Va.), first-year player Ali Lifka (Asheville, N.C.) and sophomore goalkeeper Seanne Weekes (San Jose, Calif.), the Vixens lost 8 to 0 at Virginia Wesleyan.

Today's game completes the 2009 season for the Vixens.
