The Sweet Briar soccer team couldn't hold back the Eastern Mennonite University Royals today at Babcock Field. The Royals defeated the Vixens by a score of 2-0.

Despite a tremendous and physical effort by the Vixen squad, including 13 heads-up saves by sophomore goalkeeper Seanne Weekes (San Jose, Calif.), the Vixens could not contain the EMU offense.

The Vixens will host Southern Virginia University on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Babcock Field.
