The Sweet Briar College soccer team hosted conference foe Guilford for a Homecoming battle on Saturday.  The Quakers slipped by the Vixens by a narrow 1-0 decision.

The game was scoreless into the 66^th minute when Guilford scored the eventual game winner off a corner kick.  That goal was the only blemish on the day for goalkeeper Seanne Weekes ('12/San Jose, Calif.) who made 15 saves on the afternoon.

The Vixens next take the field on Wednesday, September 29^th when they play host to Bridgewater College in a conference matchup beginning at 4:30pm at Babcock Field.
