The Vixen Soccer team staged a dramatic 1-0 overtime victory over host Bryn Mawr today as part of the Bryn Mawr Invitational Tournament.  Aly Lifka ('13/Asheville, N.C.) scored the winning goal 2:16 into overtime, on a shot that lofted over leaping Bryn Mawr goalkeeper Rebecca Joseph and settled into the back of the net.

Goalkeepers Lindsey Wilson ('14/Bedford, Va.) and Seanne Weekes ('12/San Jose, Ca.) combined for the shutout, turning away all four scoring opportunities they faced.

Lifka and Sierra Palmieri ('12/Ft. Collins, Col.) were named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion, recognizing their outstanding play throughout the weekend.

Sweet Briar returns to play on Thursday, September 9^th when they travel to Mary Baldwin for a 5:30pm contest.
