SWEET BRIAR, Va. --- On Wednesday, September 18, Sweet Briar embarks on the 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference playing schedule.  The first league opponent on the docket is Emory & Henry College.  SBC closes out the first week with an 11 a.m. road contest at Bridgewater College on Saturday, September 21.

Vixen Soccer (2-0-1) will look to extend its two game win streak against the Wasps, while EHC (0-7) enters the contest looking for its first win of the season.  On Saturday, SBC travels to Bridgewater for the second ODAC match of the week.  The Eagles currently hold a 3-3 record which includes one league win over EHC.

SBC Head Soccer Coach Kevin Fabulich is eager to begin conference play.  In the previous match, Sweet Briar worked on moving the ball, combination play and defensive organization. Fabulich has been pleased with the effort so far.

Wednesday's ODAC match with Emory & Henry is set for a 4:30 p.m. start on Babcock Field.  The game will be available for online viewing via the Vixen Athletics YouTube channel.
