CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- It was the final game of the season for the Sweet Briar soccer team as they traveled to play Summit University on Thursday afternoon. The host Defenders took advantage of an undermanned Vixen side, winning 4-0.

Today's contest marks the final career game for seniors Katie Tillson, Kat Day, Ashley Federico, Tosha Brown, and Nene Jones.

The Defenders jumped on top early, scoring three goals before the halftime whistle. Shalynne Laman scored all three first-half goals for the home side.

The Vixens best offensive chance came in the second half when Jona Cumani buried a pass from Day into the back of the net. But the head official quickly waived off the goal.

Des'rae Davis led the Vixens offensively, as she has all season, with two shots. Tillson was busy in goal all day and finished the game with nine saves.

"All the seniors played a strong match in the final game of their career," said Head Coach Amy Dahlin. "These ladies are everything you could hope for in a group of seniors. They're all great leaders, strong players, and they put the team first."
