The Sweet Briar soccer team will continue their 2015 season this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday. Friday afternoon will bring a matchup with the Tigers of Trinity University (DC). Then the following day they'll head into Bal- timore to battle with the Notre Dame-Maryland Gators.

Last Time Out: 2015 started for the Vixens with a home contest against Christendom College last Saturday. The visiting Crusaders made the most of their opportunities and outpaced the Vixens to win 3-0. Katie Tillson made seven saves and Des'rae Davis registered three shots during the contest.

Scouting Trinity University (DC): The Tigers enter Friday afternoon's game having outscored their opponents 15-1 this season, including a 12-0 drubbing of Patrick Henry. First-years Monica Sanchez Amaya and Doris Ayala lead the Tigers with three goals and an assist each. Keeper Helen Woolf has made 11 saves on her way to two shutout victories.

Scouting Notre Dame-Maryland: Early season success has also found the Gators, who are outscoring opponents 20-0 after three games. In their only home game so far this season, the Gators downed the University of Valley Forge, 12-0. First-year Meghan Conner has anchored the NDMU attack with 10 goals and two assists. Her classmate Lyndsay Rehak has contributed three goals and six assists. The Gators have been strong defensively all year as goal- keeper Lilly Gordon has only been forced to make four saves to preserve her three clean sheets.
