SALEM, Va.- The Sweet Briar College soccer team traveled to Roanoke College on Saturday afternoon for an ODAC clash. The host Maroons netted eight first-half goals on their way to a 10-0 victory.

It was a very clean game between the conference foes, as only one foul was called between the two sides.

Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Thomas was busy all afternoon, facing 26 shots on goal and making 16 saves. That mark is a career-best for the Appomattox native and adds to her season total, which is second best in the conference.

The Vixens will return to action on Wednesday when they host Guilford College beginning at 4 p.n.
