LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Sweet Briar College soccer team paid a visit to nearby Randolph College for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday night. The host WildCats won the match 4-0.

The best attacking opportunity for the Vixens in the first half came from a Des'rae Davis free kick just outside the left corner of the 18-yard box. Davis took a curling shot to right post, quality save by WildCats keeper.

Earlier in the half, Davis made a run down the right flank from the midfield line, working around two Randolph defenders. The senior sent a cross into the box that was quickly cleared by the WildCats backline.

Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Thomas finished the match with nine saves.

The Vixens will return home for a match Friday at 4 p.m. against Bridgewater College.
