SWEET BRIAR, Va.- The Sweet Briar College soccer team hosted Bridgewater College on Friday evening for an ODAC affair. The Eagles entered the match as one of the top teams in the conference and proved their standing with a 9-0 victory.

Sophomore Caroline Thomas was busy in goal all day, making 15 saves in the effort. Junior Leyte McNealus cleared a header off the goal line to chip in with the defensive effort.

The Vixens will remain at home and play host to Lynchburg College on Wednesday afternoon with opening kick scheduled for 4 p.m. The Hornets are currently ranked 10th in the NSCAA Coaches Poll.
