SWEET BRIAR, Va. — The Sweet Briar soccer program fell 11-0 in ODAC action on Wednesday at Babcock Field to Eastern Mennonite.

The eventual winner came in the second minute when Rachel Sauder scored off a corner from Kylie Paul.

"Being banged up, we narrowed some things down and set a few specific goals for ourselves this game," said head coach Jason Capps. "I'm happy to see we sharpened our focus on a few pieces, but disappointed we couldn't do a better job with some of the others."

Sweet Briar senior goalkeeper Caroline Thomas (Appomattox, Va.) recorded 11 saves in goal.

The Vixens travel to Randolph-Macon on Saturday for a noon kickoff against the Yellow Jackets.
