SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar NCEA team (2-2) will continue competition at home with a meet against South Dakota State (1-2-1) on Sunday, Nov. 21.
The Vixens earned their biggest victory of the season last week when the team capture a 5-2 win over Sacred Heart.
First-year
Katherine Atherton (Montpelier, Va.) was named Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) in both fences and flat after scoring an 85 and a 77.5 on Cardino and Emmett, respectively.
Junior
Kacie Freeburg (Orlando, Fla.) and sophomore
Emmy Longest (Hanover, Va.) also earned points for Sweet Briar at last week's meet.
