Soccer Set to Face Averett, Shenandoah

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar soccer (2-1-0, 0-0-0 ODAC) is set to host both Averett (2-2-1, 0-0-0 USA South) and Shenandoah (3-5-0, 0-0-0 ODAC) on Sept. 22 at 4:30 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 12 p.m., respectively.
 
The matchup against Averett marks the last non-conference game of the season for the Vixens, while Shenandoah will be the team's first ODAC opponent on the schedule.
 
Sweet Briar is coming off a 3-0 victory over Trinity Washington this past Wednesday with first-years Kaitlynn Rupert (Woodbridge, Va.) and Kaitlyn Burns (Moneta, Va. ) scoring goals for the Vixens. Junior Katelyn Meyer (Smithsburg, Md.) posted a shutout, the team's first since 2018.
