SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar soccer will enter its penultimate week of regular season competition with matches scheduled against Averett (4-6-2, 2-3-1 ODAC) and Ferrum (3-8-2, 0-5-1 ODAC).
The Vixens will first welcome the Cougars to Amherst County High School for a 7:30 p.m. contest tomorrow, Oct. 19 before heading to face the Panthers at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Graduate student Caroline Lewis (Ellicott City, Md.) currently ranks fourth in the conference in shots with 42 while sophomore Trista Cleaves (Millville, N.J.) is first in saves with 123 recorded so far this season.
What to Know
- Sweet Briar and Averett will meet for the first time as Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opponents as well as for the first time in 12 years.
- Cleaves also ranks third in the nation in saves in a single game after recording 33 saves against Randolph on Oct. 8.
