SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar swim team (0-1, 0-0 ODAC) will welcome the Guilford Quakers (1-0, 1-0 ODAC) and Hollins (0-1, 0-1 ODAC) to the Prothro Natatorium for the first home meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m.
The Vixens are coming off a loss to St. Mary’s which saw three finish-place finishes and a team relay victory in the 200-yard freestyle.
Junior Kass Carpenter (Mechanicsville, Va.) sat atop the podium in the 200-yard freestyle while sophomore Mary Catherine Warner (Virginia Beach, Va.) finished first in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle.
Senior Peyton Murphy (Norfolk, Va.) nabbed a pair of second-place finishes in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard butterfly.
What to Know
- Sweet Briar leads the all-time series against Guilford 4-1 and has beaten Hollins the past two times out.
- At last year’s tri-meet, the Vixens beat both the Quakers and Hollins by scores of 114-25 and 123-49, respectively.

Sweet Briar will see action against Southern Virginia on Friday, Nov. 4 and host Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 5.
