Soccer to Face Hollins in First ODAC Match of the Season

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar soccer team (0-4-0, 0-0-0 ODAC) will open up conference play tomorrow, Sept. 24 when they take on Hollins (0-3-0, 0-0-0 ODAC) at Amherst County High School.
 
The match is set to start at 11 a.m. and will see the Vixens return to play for the first time since Sept. 15.
 
Last time out against Mary Baldwin, sophomore goalkeeper Trista Cleaves (Millville, N.J.) registered a career-high 21 saves.
 
What to Know
  • Cleaves earned the title of SAAC Athlete of the Week for her impressive performance in Staunton.
  • Sophomore Jillian Lewis (Ellicott City, Md.) ranked tied for third in the conference in assists with two while her sister, graduate student Carolina Lewis (Ellicott City, Md.) is third in shots with 24.
What's Next
Sweet Briar will be back in action in exactly a week when the team hosts Randolph-Macon on Oct. 1.
