SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The No. 2 single discipline Sweet Briar College NCEA team (6-2, 6-1 ECAC) will host the Berry Vikings in the first-ever matchup between the two programs for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association's (NCEA) Meet of the Week tomorrow, March 3, at 1 p.m.
This will be the Vixens' fourth-straight meet at the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center after earning wins against No. 1 Lynchburg on Feb. 10 and No. 4 Bridgewater and Dartmouth on Feb. 24.
The team earned 6-4 wins over both the Hornets and the Eagles before taking down the Big Green, 9-1.
What to Know
- Sophomore Katherine Atherton (Montpelier, Va.) earned her second-straight weekly honor this past week when she was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Flat Rider of the Week.
- Along with this being the first matchup between the two programs, tomorrow will also mark Berry's first NCEA competition.

The ECAC Championships are set for March 24-26 in Rustburg, Va.
