SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Sweet Briar College cross country team has set its 2023 schedule with seven meets on the docket.
The Vixens will kick off action on Sept. 1 with the Hill City Relays hosted by both Randolph and Lynchburg at the HumanKind Home Course in Lynchburg, Va.
The team will then travel to Salem, Va. for its first of three races hosted by Roanoke with the 2023 Rooney Invitational set for Sept. 8. The following week the team will see action in Farmville, Va. at the Lancer Pink Invite on Sept. 16.
For the first time since the 2020 season, Sweet Briar will play host for the Sweet Briar Invitational on Sept. 29 to close out the month.
The runners will then make their return to Salem for the 2023 Roanoke XC Invitational/Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Preview on Oct. 13.
On Oct. 28, Sweet Briar will head to its first postseason race, the 2023 ODAC Championship at Green Hill Park.
The 2023 NCAA South Regionals will be hosted by Berry in Mount Berry, Ga. on Nov. 11.
