GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Sweet Briar College soccer team (3-10-0, 0-8-0 ODAC) wrapped up action on the road for 2024 at the Guilford College Quakers (11-3-2, 5-2-1 ODAC) this afternoon, falling by a score of 9-0.
The Quakers tallied their first goal of the game just over a minute into play and tacked on five more to take a 6-0 lead into halftime.
Guilford only managed to net three more goals in the second half of action, on the same number of shots as in the first, to take the 9-0 victory.
Highlights
- This afternoon's matchup marks the lowest goal total for the Quakers since the two teams met in 2021.
- In goal, senior Trista Cleaves (Millville, N.J.) recorded 14 saves.
What's Next
The Vixens will conclude the 2024 season at home against EMU and Shenandoah on Oct. 30th and Nov. 2nd, respectively.
