Hunter Morris begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Vixens during the 2016-17 school year.

Morris has been involved with competitive swimming since the age of 10. He swam for the Lynchburg YMCA Piranhas and earned national qualifying times in the 100 and 200 fly. In addition, he was a four-time letter winner and state qualifier at Jefferson Forest High School, in nearby Forest, VA. Following high school, Morris competed at ODAC rival Randolph-Macon College, primarily as a mid-distance swimmer and he currently holds the 200 Freestyle record for the Yellowjackets.

Morris looks forward to bringing added energy to the pool deck and will be focusing his efforts on training the mid-distance and distance swimmers as well as recruiting. Hunter resides in Lynchburg, Va. and is the current Head Coach of the YMCA Masters.
