Box Score The Vixen Soccer team fell to conference foe Virginia Wesleyan
8-0 Tuesday afternoon. Sweet Briar held tough in the
1st half allowing only two goals. However, the
Marlins broke things open with six more goals in the second
half.
Goalkeeper Seanne Weekes ('12/San Jose, Calif.) turned
away 23 shots on goal for the match as she delivered a standout
performance for the Vixens.
The Vixens return to action for a Homecoming matchup against
Guilford College beginning at 1:30pm on Saturday, September
25th. Fans are reminded that the campus will
be busy and to plan ahead. Also, Fans are invited to stay and
cheer on our alums during our Alumnae Game, which will follow the
Sweet Briar-Guilford matchup.
