The Sweet Briar College soccer team hosted the Eagles of Bridgewater College today on a rain-soaked Babcock field.

The Eagles took the lead in the first half, scoring the first goal off a penalty kick. Bridgewater continued to hold the Vixens scoreless throughout the game and made another three goals in the second half for a final score of 4-0 for the Eagles.

Despite allowing four goals, Vixen goalkeeper Seanne Weekes ('12/San Jose, Calif.) had a total of 13 saves for the team's effort. 

The next competition for Sweet Briar soccer (4-6) will be at Washington & Lee on October 2 with a 1 pm start time.
