GREENSBORO, N.C.- A great start from Greensboro College first-year Meredith Priest was too much for Sweet Briar College to overcome in Sunday afternoon's soccer match. The Pride downed the Vixens, 13-0.

Priest netted a hat trick just 15 minutes after the opening whistle to give Greensboro a great start. Senior Lauren Greeson assisted on two of Priest's goals.

The Pride defense held the Vixen attack in check all afternoon and despite that it was a very clean game with no cards and only two fouls for each side.

First-year Courtney Nelson make eight saves while playing the entire game in goal for Sweet Briar.

On Saturday, Sept. 10, the Vixens will travel back to North Carolina to face the Pacers of William Peace University. The match will kick off at 2 p.m. from WakeMed Soccer Park, which hosts the NCAA Women's College Cup this December.
