Four Vixens honored by NCEA for academic success

WACO, Texas — The National Collegiate Equestrian Association recognized four Sweet Briar student-athletes, on Tuesday, as Farnam NCEA All-Academic Team selections.

Juniors Lily Peterson (3.957, Ashland, Va.) and Katie Balding (3.512, Williamsburg, Va.) were named Farnam NCEA All-Academic First Team selections, while sophomore Maggie Fraley (3.458, White Haven, Pa.) earned second-team laurels and sophomore Britt Larson-Jackson (3.627, Washington, D.C.) was an honorable mention selection.

Peterson is now a two-time First Team Farnam NCEA All-Academic selection, while Balding adds first-team honors to a second-team nod as a sophomore.

Fraley and Larson-Jackson are both first-time Farnam NCEA All-Academic honorees.
