Soccer Drops First ODAC Match Against Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Sweet Briar soccer (2-2-0, 0-1-0 ODAC) fell to the Lynchburg Hornets (6-1-0, 2-0-0 ODAC) 9-0 in its first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match of the 2021 season.
 
Facing a tough challenge in goal, junior Katelyn Meyer (Smithsburg, Md.) tallied 13 saves against a Lynchburg team that took down a nationally ranked opponent only a few days ago.
 
First-year Kaitlynn Rupert (Woodbridge, Va.) led the Vixens in shots while playing the full 90 minutes.
