FERRUM, Va. – Sweet Briar soccer (1-11-0, 1-7-0 ODAC) fell to the Ferrum Panthers (5-6-2, 2-5-1 ODAC) tonight by a score of 9-0.
After a scoreless 15 minutes, the Panthers got on the board with their eighth shot on goal. The home team followed their 1-0 goal up in quick succession, tallying another less than a minute later.
Four more goals in the remaining 29 minutes of play would bring the match to 6-0 in favor of Ferrum entering the half.
The first 15 minutes of play once again went by without a single score; however, the Panthers broke that at the 59:48 mark with their seventh goal of the game. They would find the back of the net two more times before the match drew to a 9-0 close.

Trista Cleaves (Millville, N.J.) recorded 10 saves through 55:14 minutes of play while senior
Evelyn Tello (Hampton, Ga.) made six saves during the course of 34:36.
