ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Sweet Briar lacrosse (5-8, 2-4 CSAC) fell in its final regular-season game to the Cedar Crest Falcons (3-7, 2-4 CSAC) by a score of 11-6.

The Vixens got out to a quick 2-0 lead thanks to goals from juniors Zerah Chase (Virginia Beach, Va.) and Kaylah Bailey (Virginia Beach, Va.).

The team then quickly answered a tally from the Falcons with Bailey finding the back of the next for the second time in the quarter to bring the score to 3-1.

Cedar Crest began to find its game in the second, scoring four straight before first-year Valen Foster (Bushwood, Md.) and Bailey netted two more to even out the score.

The Falcons would total six through the second half of play while sophomore Sarah Southard (Culpeper, Va.) scored the Vixens' lone second-half goal in the fourth to close out the game at 11-6.

Bailey, first-years Trista Cleaves (Millville, N.J.), Ashley Maggiora (Hollister, Calif.) and Kaitlyn Burns (Moneta, Va.) and sophomores Dani Peloso (Centreville, Va.) and Jamison Tarver (Kingwood, Texas) each tallied one caused turnover.
