Hannah Lott praised the defender's performance in tonight's game stating, "[She] demonstrated her leadership in the defensive line as we invited younger players into the back."
Fellow sophomore
Jolin Daughety (Williamsburg, Va.) led the offense for the Vixens with two shots on goal while junior

Carlina Christy (Denver, Pa.) helped generate chances for the team in her collegiate debut with Coach Lott remarking that "[she showcased] her speed and will to hunt in attack."
As the first of two matches this season, the Vixens and Phoenix will face off again later on in conference play. Looking back on tonight and ahead to the future Coach Lott stated, "We had a good look to see what we are made of and are excited to bring that together this weekend. We played and put forth a tough defensive battle and we made big strides in developing our offensive persona. We are looking forward to playing Wilson later this season on our brand new astroturf field, Thayer Field."
