SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar swimming (4-4, 4-2 ODAC) will close out action in the month of January in Farmville, Va. this Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. The Vixens will face off against Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opponents Bridgewater (3-2, 1-2 ODAC) and Hollins (0-4) at Hampden-Sydney.

The team is coming off of a 131-41 victory over Ferrum last week. The win included highlights such as 10 first-place finishes, a season best time for graduate student Caroline Lewis (Ellicott City, Md.) in the 100-yard freestyle and a victory from sophomore Madlen Kolar (Wiesbaden, Germany) in her first collegiate meet.

What to Know

• Friday will mark the first meeting between Bridgewater and Sweet Briar this season.
• The Vixens previously took down Hollins 140-32 on Oct. 29.
• C. Lewis was named Sweet Briar’s SAAC Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Sweet Briar will compete next at the ODAC Championships in Greensboro, N.C., Feb. 8-11.
