ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sweet Briar College tennis team (4-3, 1-0 ODAC) concluded its time in Florida with a match against the Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats (4-3, 0-0 CC), falling by a score of 5-2.
Franklin & Marshall got ahead early after winning the doubles point for the 1-0 lead.
In singles play, senior
Ana Patino (Medellín, Colombia) took down Jenna Harrison, 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 1 spot while sophomore
Juli Caracciolo (Los Cardales, Argentina) won her No. 3 match against Mackenzie Sherman by scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-9).
Junior
Alex Guilarte (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) fought in her No. 2 singles match, forcing a tiebreak in the second set, but ultimately falling 3-6, 6-7 (4-7).

- Both Caracciolo and Patino are undefeated in matches against the Diplomats.

The Vixens will see action against Bridgewater, Southern Virginia, Virginia Wesleyan and Trinity Washington next week.
