ROANOKE, Va. – The Sweet Briar College tennis team (1-4, 1-1 ODAC) turned in a dominant performance on Thursday afternoon, sweeping Hollins University (0-7, 0-4 ODAC) 7-0 at the Batten Tennis Center.

Senior Atty

Bestwick (Durham, N.C.) and sophomore Gianna Guadagno (Huntington Beach, Calif.) collected a win by default at No. 3 doubles to complete the sweep.

The Vixens carried that momentum into singles, where they did not drop a set and surrendered only one game across six courts. Guilarte set the tone at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Hull, and Bovard followed with an identical 6-0, 6-0 result over Mingo at No. 2.
