Dachis Crowned NCEA Single Discipline Fences Rider of the Year

WACO, Texas Senior Naomi Dachis (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) of the Sweet Briar College NCEA team has been crowned the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Single Discipline Fences Rider of the Year, the organization announced today, April 15th.

Dachis previously earned a spot on the Ariat 2025-2026 All-America First Team in fences after competing in a minimum 67% of the team's regular season meets and earning a win percentage of 77.78 with a 7-2 record and an adjusted NRS score of 100.28.

It was the third time that Dachis had earned All-America honors from the NCEA, and she became the first Vixen rider to earn a place on the First Team since the 2020-2021 season and just the second overall.

Dachis is the first student-athlete in Sweet Briar history to be crowned Rider of the Year in any discipline by the NCEA.

The Vixens will take on No. 1 Lynchburg in the NCEA National Championship semifinals on April 17th, with action starting at 2 p.m.
