CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Sweet Briar College cross country team saw action at the NCAA South Regional Preview, hosted by Lynchburg, this morning.
Sophomore
Elaina Sherline (Morehead City, N.C.) crossed the finish line in 77th place, finishing the race at the 29:10.2 mark.
Right behind her was first-year
Lucy Pettigrew (Southlake, Texas), whose time of 30:14.3 put her in 86th place.
Senior
Amanda Costa (Watertown, N.Y.) and first-year Josephine Crawford (Hampton, Va.) finished back-to-back with times of 35:29.8 and 35:30.1, respectively.
Highlights
- Both Pettigrew and Crawford completed their first 6ks as Vixens today.
- Costa recorded her third-fastest 6k time.
What's Next
The Vixens will compete at the Lancer Pink Invite on Oct. 9th.
