Sweet Briar College

Sweet Briar College provides a number of membership options for all community members to stay healthy and active at the FAC! Membership plans come in three different sizes (single, partner, or family) and four different lengths (1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, or 1 Year). Please see the specific prices below:

Membership includes access to cardio and weight rooms, indoor track, open pool hours and basketball courts when available.  Please visit vixenathletics.com for current building hours.  Hours subject to change subject to changes in academic calendar.

All members must pay with EXACT cash or a check made out to Sweet Briar College at the front desk of the FAC. Credit or Debit cards are accepted at the Business Office during the specified cashier hours:

• Monday through Thursday – 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM

• Friday – 2:00 – 4:00 PM

• Saturday & Sunday - CLOSED

Authorized FAC Users, Description, Required Forms & ID Requirement
Sweet Briar Students – any individual currently enrolled in full-time or part-time classes may use all FAC facilities through Student ID access, RhinoFit Authorization Required
Sweet Briar Faculty/Staff – any individual currently employed by the College may use all FAC facilities through Sweet Briar ID access, RhinoFit Authorization Required
Sweet Briar Faculty/Staff Family Members: Partners, Spouses, Dependents – any individuals whom reside in the same household must fill out an application with the Faculty or Staff member present, RhinoFit Authorization Required
Sweet Briar College Alumnae – any individual who has graduated from Sweet Briar College must provide proof of previous student status at Sweet Briar. RhinoFit Authorization Required. Acceptable proof: Student ID, picture of SBC Diploma, AR&D Verification
Retired Faculty/Staff of Sweet Briar – any individual who has previously worked at Sweet Briar and retired from the college must provide proof of employment, RhinoFit Authorization Required
SBC Elston Inn Guests - any individual who will be staying in the Elston Inn on Sweet Briar's Campus will have full access to the FAC facilities upon completion of an application, proof of room key, and providing exact dates of stay
Community Membership – any individual who wishes to use the FAC Gym Facilities, RhinoFit Authorization Required
RHINOFIT AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED: Please email sweetbriarFAC@sbc.edu for more information and access or visit us at the front desk of the FAC and we can add your profile within minutes!
AUTHORIZED FAC USERS: Any individual with RhinoFit Authorization.
GUEST POLICY: Sweet Briar Students may bring one guest per visit, free of charge. Any authorized FAC Member may also bring one guest and purchase a day pass for $5.00 at the front desk of the FAC. Any additional guests must follow the Day Pass Policy below. Each guest must be accompanied by the sponsoring Authorized FAC User at all times during the visit. Each guest is required to sign a liability waiver before entering the facilities, currently added within the COVID Symptom Waiver
FOR MINORS & GUESTS: 

• Any minors 13 and/or younger are free to use the Field House, the pool requires parent/guardian supervision at all times, there should be NO access to the cardio/weight room without prior consent with the Facilities Coordinator

• Any individuals 14 and/or older require FAC paid memberships. Any minors under 16 years old require parent/guardian supervision within the cardio/weight room unless prior consent with the Facilities Coordinator is provided

• All individuals 16 years or older require a FAC paid membership or $5 day passes and have full access to the facilities

• All minors under 16 require a parent/guardian to sign a minor waiver and supervise their time at the FAC

DAY PASS POLICY: Any individual who is not considered a Sweet Briar Guest may use the facilities after purchasing a $5.00-day pass and signing a liability waiver at the front desk of the FAC. Each new day will require a new payment and liability waiver to be signed.
