Sweet Briar ‘18
Liz Phaup enters her second season on the Sweet Briar College lacrosse coaching staff in 2019-20.
Phaup, a dual-sport lacrosse and soccer student-athlete in her time at Sweet Briar, played in 25 games for the Vixens lacrosse program across three seasons.
For her efforts as a senior on the lacrosse team, Phaup was recognized as an All-Independent Women’s Lacrosse Schools honorable mention selection.
Phaup was recognized at Sweet Briar’s annual awards banquet as the Class of 1977 Sportsmanship Award Winner during her junior year and was recognized as the Athlete of the Year during her senior year.
Academically, Phaup was a three-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic honoree and was named Academic All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors as a senior.
Phaup graduated from Sweet Briar in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
