Izzy Melvin was named assistant coach of the Sweet Briar soccer program in the fall of 2026.
Melvin previously held stints as the head coach of the Germantown Legends Soccer Club and as the assistant coach of the girls' varsity program at the Virginia Episcopal School.
Additionally, Melvin played collegiate soccer for two years for Southwest Tennessee Community College, an NJCAA DI program, where she was awarded the Quintin Award in 2024 and 2025 for her academic and athletic excellence.
Melvin anticipates a bachelor's degree in sport management from Liberty University in 2027.
