The Sweet Briar College Field Hockey team took on the Generals of Washington and Lee on Friday night under the lights at Washington and Lee. It was a cool night, the Vixens put up a good fight but were unable to produce in the attacking end, and fell to the Generals 6-0.

The defense lead by senior Maggie McNamara (Arlington, Va) kept the Generals to only 18 penalty corners, and 30 shots. Junior Goalkeeper Emma Rakosky  (Ellicott City, MD) came up with 9 saves on the night.

The Vixens are back in action on Sunday when they take on conference opponent Randolph Macon-Ashland at 1:00 at Thayer Field.
