The Sweet Briar Soccer team traveled to Averett University this afternoon and fell to the Cougars 6-1.  With today's loss the Vixens fall to 3-2 on the young season.

Junior Sierra Palmieri (Ft. Collins, Colo.) scored her third goal of the season on a breakaway in the 61^st minute.   In goal for the Vixens, Seanne Weekes ('12/San Jose, Calif.) made 14 saves on the day.

The Vixens look to return to the win column when they host N.C Wesleyan Tuesday in the first game of the season held at Babcock Field.  Game time is scheduled for 5:30pm.
