WINCHESTER, Va.- The Sweet Briar College field hockey team traveled to Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon for a conference matchup. The host Hornets came away with a 12-0 victory.

Emily Dodson had a busy afternoon in cage, facing 29 shots and making a career-best 17 saves. Dodson entered the match leading the ODAC in saves and now brings her season total up to 95.

The junior got help from defensive teammates Kiley Jolicoeur and Jessica Lusby who both tallied three defensive saves. Lusby now has nine defensive saves on the season, which leads the ODAC. Jolicoeur brings her season total up to six, which is tied for second-best in the conference.

Vixen hockey will be back in action at Thayer Field on Tuesday when Lynchburg College comes to campus for a 4 p.m. ODAC matchup.
