SWEET BRIAR, Va.- The Sweet Briar College field hockey team hosted Cedar Crest College on Sunday morning for their third-straight home game to open their season. The visiting Falcons netted five first-half goals on their way to an 8-0 victory.

Junior Emily Dodson made 10 saves in goal for the Vixens and senior Amanda Terry helped her out by notching a defensive save.

The Vixens will return to action on Friday, Sept. 16, when they host Hood College at 4:30 p.m.
