SWEET BRIAR, Va.- Playing for the second time in as many days, the Sweet Briar College field hockey team hosted Wilson College on Sunday afternoon. The visiting Phoenix scored three first-half goals on their way to a 6-0 victory.

In another team defensive effort, Jessica Lusby recorded three defensive saves to help the Vixens. That total matches her three from yesterday, for a season total of six.

Facing 23 shots on goal, Emily Dodson came up big by making 14 saves in the losing effort. Her save percentage of .700 is the best the junior has recorded this season.

The Vixens will open ODAC play next Saturday when they travel to Shenandoah University for a 2 p.m. start.
