SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar field hockey (10-5, 3-2 CSAC) will take on conference rivals Keystone (10-5, 4-0 CSAC) on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 11:30 a.m. before hosting Meredith (1-8) for Senior Day on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m.
The Vixens will meet the Keystone Giants for the first time since 2018 and for the first time as conference opponents.
Sunday's meeting with the Meredith Avenging Angels marks the first time in program history the two women's colleges will meet. Before the match, The Vixens will honor their three seniors,
Janie Bolling (Hereford, Md.),
Brigitte Gorman (Chesapeake, Va.) and
Ingrid Stacia (Richmond, Va.).
Sweet Briar is coming off a packed four-game week, which saw the team go 2-2. The Vixens handily took down Wells by a score of 6-1 on Saturday thanks to a hat trick by first-year

Avery Jones' (Union, Conn.) penalty stroke was the 2-1 game-winning goal in an eventual 3-1 victory over SUNY Morrisville on Oct. 17.
