Field Hockey Sets Sights on ECAC Championships

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar field hockey (13-8, 4-3 CSAC) will continue its season for a chance at the ECAC Division III Field Hockey Championship starting this Wednesday, Nov. 10.
 
The No. 4 seed in the tournament, the Vixens will head to No. 1 Ramapo College (12-7, 3-3 NJAC) for First Round action at 2:30 p.m.
 
The winner of Wednesday's match will go on to the semifinals match against the winner of No. 2 Widener/No. 3 William Paterson on Saturday, Nov. 13.
 
Sweet Briar is coming off an extremely successful season which saw the team secure its best record since 2000. Additionally, eight members of the team earned All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors.
