SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar field hockey (4-1, 2-1 CSAC) held the Notre Dame (Md.) Gators (1-3, 0-1 CSAC) scoreless on Saturday to come out on top 5-0.
This marks the third-straight shutout win by the Vixens and their second 5-0 win of the season.

After a scoreless third quarter, the Vixens came back hot in the fourth tallying three goals in 12 minutes. First-years

Jolin Daughety (Williamsburg, Va.) and sophomore
Avery Jones (Union, Conn.) all got their names on the scoresheet in the fourth quarter and helped bring Sweet Briar to its eventual 5-0 victory.
