SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar field hockey (4-1, 2-1 CSAC) will take on the Bridgewater College Eagles (3-3, 0-0 ODAC) at Amherst County High School tomorrow, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m.
The Vixens are coming off a 5-0 shutout against Notre Dame (Md.) and have won three-straight games, all without conceding a goal.

Kailey McCarthy (Atkinson, N.H.) was named the CSAC Defensive Player of the Week this past Monday, while senior
Brigitte Gorman (Chesapeake, Va.) was named to the honor roll.

- Senior goalkeeper Janie Bolling (Hereford, Md.) leads the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in goals against average (.813), total saves (14) and shutouts per game (3).
- Gorman leads the CSAC in shots with 22, while also making the top-10 in shots on goal (16), goals (4) and points (9).
- Also leading the CSAC in a stat category is sophomore Brynna Hughes (Richmond, Va.) with 15 points.
- First-year Jolin Daughety (Williamsburg, Va.), sophomore Avery Jones (Union, Conn.), first-year Lara Jost (Würzburg, Germany) and junior Ingrid Kalwitz Blanco (Antofagasta, Chile) all rank in the top-10 of various statistical categories as well.
- Three Vixens have received CSAC weekly honors so far this season, as Kalwitz Blanco and McCarthy were named to the honor roll after the first week of competition.
