Field Hockey Set for Trio of Games Against Southern Virginia, Eastern Mennonite, Lancaster Bible

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – There will be plenty of field hockey action this week as Sweet Briar field hockey (5-1, 2-1 CSAC) takes on Southern Virginia (0-7, 0-0 USA South), Eastern Mennonite (5-2, 0-0 ODAC) and Lancaster Bible (1-6, 0-0 CSAC).
 
The first game of the week against Southern Virginia will take place at Amherst County High School on Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
 
Following that game, the Vixens will hit the road to face off against Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. and Lancaster Bible on Oct. 3 at 2 p.m.
 
Sweet Briar is coming off a huge 2-1 OT victory over Bridgewater and a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week nod for first-year Jolin Daughety (Williamsburg, Va.).

The Vixens return home for action against Ferrum on Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. before departing for Massachusetts for a game against Anna Maria on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.
