SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Sweet Briar field hockey (3-6, 0-1 CSAC) is set to travel to Meredith (0-7, 0-0 USA South) and Notre Dame of Maryland (0-6, 0-1 CSAC) this week for contests on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m., respectively.
The Vixens are coming off a split week which saw them bounce back after a loss to Roanoke to take down Ferrum, 5-1.

Kailey McCarthy (Atkinson, N.H.) scored two goals while junior
Brynna Hughes (Richmond, Va.) tallied two assists to land themselves on the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honor roll this week.
Sweet Briar is 1-0 against the Avenging Angels and defeated the Gators 5-0 last season.
