After Guilford got on the board first, junior
Valen Foster (Bushwood, Md.) helped the Vixens answer quickly with a woman-up goal less than five minutes in to tie the game up at one.
Sophomore
Victoria Schofield (Towson, Md.) was the next Sweet Briar player to get her name in the scoresheet after finding the back of the net at the 9:21 mark in the second quarter to bring the score to 4-2.
