SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The No. 5 single discipline Sweet Briar College NCEA team (2-3, 1-2 ODAC) was victorious against the Sewanee Tigers (0-2) this afternoon, winning the meet at the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center 8-2.
The Vixens started the meet with four points in flat competition, led by both senior
Maggie Booth (Marietta, Ga.) and sophomore
Abigail Schreiner's (Villa Rica, Ga.) meet-high scores of 87.
Sophomore
Gracie Robertson (Mocksville, N.C.) totaled an 85 on Emmett to earn the point against Olivia Carmouche by a 27-point win margin, while senior
Wyette Felton (Canton, Ga.) bested Piper Nelson with an 80 on Bella.
Sweet Briar also took four points in fences competition while four riders scored in the 80s. Booth totaled an 84.5 on Hemingway for a 15.5-point win margin. First-year
Sadie Swift (Leonardtown, Md.) and senior
Naomi Dachis (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) saw scores of 83 and 82, respectively.
First-year
Hallie Nelson (Duette, Fla.) totaled a 73 on Chico to take the point against her Sewanee opponent, who totaled a 67.

- Booth and Schreiner both topped their previous high scores of the season.
